Editorial: Tell No One!

There’s a marked contrast between Jesus’ approach to miracles and the approach some ministers take today.  Jesus never set up a tent or rented a civic center to conduct a “miracle ministry.”  In fact, seven times in the Gospel of Mark, he told the person who had experience a miracle: “tell no one.”  He certainly didn’t define his actions as a “deliverance ministry” or benefit financially as a result of the miracles which occurred.

There is a crucial difference between miracles in the public square and miracles on a public stage.  It is often the difference between egotism and worship.
