Connections: John Stott

Many of you will already have heard of John Stott’s passing this past Wednesday.  We have truly lost one of Christianity’s most-respected global leaders.

About five years ago, he gave us a treasure in his book, Through the Bible, Through the Year (Baker Books).  I want to mention it now, because it is organized to invite reading it, beginning with September.

I think I am going to include it in my daily devotions in 2011-2012, and maybe you’d like to do the same.

You can find it on Amazon.com, including the “Look Inside” feature.

Christianity Today (www.christianitytoday.com) has also posted a good article about Stott, and also remembrances from some of his friends.  You might want to check that out as well.
