Read: Psalm 1:6
Christianity shares with other religions in the belief that there are “two ways” to live—one generates life, the other results in death.
It is not too much to say that we move through life and come to the end of our lives in relation to the choices we make each day. We come to innumerable “forks in the road.” We must choose thoughts, words, and deeds over and over again.
Each divergence takes closer to, or farther away from, LIFE. Before and after the psalmist wrote these words, God was already calling us to “choose life.” This choice is fundamental to everything else.
