In-Sight: Are You Ready for a Shock?

This past weekend, Jeannie and I had the opportunity to be with Leonard Sweet in a retreat.  The opportunity came as a gift from one of our former students. It was our first time to meet him and spend time with him, even though we have crossed paths at conferences.  We were blessed in many ways to be with him.

During his workshop on Saturday afternoon, he had the tech-guy do a very simple thing—something he said would probably shock us….

He had the guy put this phrase into Google:  “Why are Christians so”

And yes….we were shocked.   Give it a try.  See what you think.

Google can get us out of our “bubble” really fast.

  1. Dennis Owen says:

People are all just human beings that make mistakes, they hurt people without the intention to doing so. The Word of God says: cursed is he who trust in man. Accept the mistakes of your fellow human being and love him and her with the love of our our Lord Jesus Christ. Love never fails and the way you love and forgive somebody show who you are in Christ. A lot of people called themselves Christians but it is only those with Love (Christ) within them who really are Christians (children of God). Your fruit will tell who your Tree is.

  2. Incredible exercise… will share with my friends as well.
