I’ve become familiar with a source I want to pass on to you: http://www.ancientfaith.com
As you’ll see it’s a website for a radio-oriented ministry, but as you explore the site, you’ll discerer that there are also written posts (lectures and radio transcripts), as well as other things to connect you with early-Christian sources and the resulting Orthodox Christianity which has emerged since 1054 a.d.
As a person in the Wesleyan tradition, I know that may of the early Christians who later became identified with Orthodoxy deeply influenced the Wesleys’ spiritual formation (e.g. the Cappadocian Fathers). That’s why learning about this site was a good thing for me, and I hope it might be for you also.
Perhaps at a later time, I can write some about this Orthodox/Wesleyan connection here at the Oboedire site. But for now, I just wanted you to have another resource to consider using in your spiritual formation. Enjoy!
