Connections: New Resources to Check Out

I have two new resources for you to check out…

(1) Renovare (www.renovare.org)—-this time-tested ministry has developed several new formation ministries:  “Stepping Stones” (for children), “The Order of the Incarnation” (for college students), and “Lyfe” (for anyone, but with a marked young-adult look).  If you haven’t gone to the Renovare site lately, now is the time to do so.

(2) A new book from InterVarsity Press by John Davis, Meditation and Communion With God.  This book presents biblical meditation as an important discipline in a secularized society.  Grounded in the resurrection (and hence, our ability to commune with the Risen Christ), the book not only lays a solid theological foundation for Christian meditation, but does so in an inviting way.
