Shepherd’s Care: Moving to a New Site

If you read the “First Day” posting on the 14th, you already know that the “Shepherd’s Care” weekly post will move to the new blogsite (NewPastors), when it begins on February 1st.  The first posting for “Shepherd’s Care” will be on Wednesday, February 6th.

For future Wednesdays on Oboedire, I will begin a posting entitled, “Wesley’s Way,” a look at spiritual formation from the vantage point of the Wesleyan tradition.  Because this is my expertise, some have asked me to find room on the Oboedire site for a posting like this.

I am not beginning it to differentiate and surely not to separate myself from any other Christians or any other theological/formative traditions.  Oboedire is, and will continue to be, an ecumenical site.

But “Wesley’s Way” will be a means for me to bring to the table some of my previous learnings about spiritual formation as mediated to me through the Wesleyan tradition, which is itself (as we will see) a product of the larger Anglican, Protestant, Roman, and Eastern traditions.

So….follow “Shepherds’ Care” on (www.newpastors.wordpress.org) beginning on February 6th, and follow “Wesley’s Way” right here on the Oboedire site, beginning the same day.
